From dreams to reality

Human beings have wonderful dreams, visions, which provides them power beyond their wildest imagination, eradicates every obstacle and makes them invincible.
What happens along the way? Why do human beings not achieve these goals? Are some of these goals impossible to achieve? Does the achievement of these goals have an age barrier or gender barrier?

“Vision without action is a dream. Action without vision is simply passing the time. Action with Vision is making a positive difference.” Joel Bake

Stories of Achieving Dreams:

When free Primary school Education was introduced in Kenya, Oliver Loitondo an 80 year old man enrolled in Standard 1.

Patrick Henry Hughes born without eyes and a tightening joints which left him crippled for life. Patrick went to University of Louisville where he scored nearly all A’s with the exception of 3 B’s.  He is a member of a Marching Music band, despite being blind and on a wheel chair…

Nick Vujicic born in 1982, without any limbs.
Take a second, imagine being without limbs, the work that we conduct on a day to day basis without giving much thought we are utilizing out limbs. Think about the social acceptance just because you are different from the rest, being bullied was a norm for him in school let alone people making fun of him. This affected his self esteem.
Nick never gave up, he has now graduated with a double major and inspires other people especially youths.

The above stories have proven age, physical inabilities does not come in the way of achieving ones dreams.  Determination, perseverance and focus always prevails, this enables an individual in witnessing their dream becoming a reality.
"Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up every time we fail". Ralph Waldo Emerson
