When human beings are born, they are full of dreams and possibilities. The inner voice tells them that their dreams are achievable and anything is possible, however as they grow up, the environment around (society at large) expects us to behave in a certain way or to perform things in a certain fashion. The society asks us not to dream big otherwise it would not work out and we would be disappointed, they demand us to follow the norms (if a kid is smart he becomes a Doctor, law, ...) careers are chosen for us, depending on results and family background. And the more we listen to the people around us, the more we stop listening to our inner voice and our dreams, it eventually fades away. Thereafter no matter what we do and how successful we may be perceived to be in the eyes of people, we will still have a feeling of dissatisfaction within us, which will haunt us for the rest of our lives. We cannot escape this feeling.
Dreams are like finger prints, each human being has unique dreams, these dreams are inspired into us in order to leave a "landmark in human history", living an authentic life is taking the time to listen to this inner voice, following this inner voice and believing in this even though the world might tell you otherwise.
People who have followed their dreams have achieved the Impossible....who believed humans could fly..its absurd? yet the Wright Brothers went ahead against all odd's and made this possible, yet today we enter airplanes without giving this much thought. This is the power of listening and following your dreams...
What are your dreams, what do you really want to do, list them down...?
